HARLESTON MAGPIES LADIES WEEKEND PREVIEW
Harleston Magpies Ladies sponsored by Kitchen Sense are away this Saturday against Old Loughtonians starting at 11.30. Magpies performance last week beating Chelmsford away 2-0 and moving into second place one point behind the leaders was probably their best performance of the season bearing in mind the quality of the opposition. However they will need to be very wary of the game this Saturday as Old Loughtonians away has never been an easy place to go and Magpies will need the same level of performance again if they are going to win the match.
Old Loughtonians are currently in 6th place five points behind Magpies with three wins, two draws and two defeats. Some of their best results have been drawing away at Ipswich in the opening game of the season and beating Horsham at home a couple of weeks ago. One of the problems Magpies may have to contend with will be the loss of Cherry Seaborn who will be away training with the England U18s. This will be a loss as Cherry has been in excellent form this season and is certainly amomgst the goals. However the Club are enquiring about her availability bearing in mind she was released last season only to find that Reading the team we were playing were allowed to play their three under 18s.
Probable Squad : Louisa Greenacre (Capt), Lucy Hayman, Lucy Fields, Bryony Lund, Katrina Warnes, Debbie McAllen, Ellie Bale, Frances Sumner, Cherry Seaborn, Verity Blyth, Jas Bartlett, Gemma Jones, Artemis Clark and Angie Wheelhouse.
