Ladies 2s – MATCH REPORT

Harleston Magpies 2s 3-3 City of Peterborough 1s

This game for the Magpies was seen as a chance to come back after last weeks dissapointing result. The first goal came from Kathryn Hinsley, who got on the end of a lovely cross into circle from Lucy Miller. The team continued to have a good first half until Peterborough equalised before the end of the half.

After a good first half Magpies were feeling confident going into the second half, but unfortunatly Peterborough scored two early goals as Magpies hadn’t yet switched on and gave Peterborough way too much time on the ball.

Magpies’ hard work and patience paid off half way through the second half when Lucy Miller did another superb cross to the back post, where Kathryn Hinsley made it 3-2. Magpies continued to put the pressure on and won a short corner late on in the second half, Kath Malvern slipped it right to Artemis Clark who scored to earn the Magpies a 3-3 draw.
