LADIES 6TH TEAM REPORT 11TH NOVEMBER 2017

Ladies 6th team v North Norfolk Ladies
(Away (L) D3-3)

Away in Cromer, the 6ths continued to bring home points after sliding close to the bottom of the league table. The 6ths took home one point, after a hard fought and great fun game.

In the first half both teams attacked confidently, and the home team did well to convert their chances. Unlike Magpies, who missed some clear chances on goal.

After this shaky start and conceding two early goals the Magpies have easily let their heads gone down. But the team, which has been building over the last few weeks did not let the score line get them down.

Our side line, bolstered by number 1 supporter and Men’s 4th team Goalkeeper Chris Flatt was at times slightly over keen, receiving a warning from the umpire. Despite this warning he continued to cheer us on with gusto.

After a rousing half time talk, from captain Heather, and some rearranging of positions the team took to the field with renewed confidence. They were rewarded with two goals from short corners, and many more chances which they could not be
