LADIES 6TH TEAM REPORT 16TH FEBRUARY 2019

Ladies 6th Team v Breckland W 4-0

Magpies claimed most of the possession. Midfielders Judith, Elena, Holly and Georgia S combining well to build strong attacks into the Breckland circle.
Magpies worked to create space in the circle, Georgia H making driving runs along the baseline to fire the ball back to the P. spot. By half time Rachael had scored two good goals.
Second half Breckland found themselves under more pressure from sustained Magpies attacking play. Imogen in the magpies goal was rarely troubled as Magpies worked to keep possession high into their attacking part of the pitch. Janna created a lot of space out on her wing, sending great balls into the circle and force many chances, Rachael again converting to take the score to 3:0.
Player of the match Louise in the centre of the Magpies team kept the tempo high, breaking down play and fielding passes out wide as Breckland sunk back into the centre of their defensive area.
A strong forward pass into the circle was calmly deflected into the goal by Rachael taking the final score to 4:0.
Magpies were pleased to be back to their winning ways and will look to take confidence from this into the tough match against Herlings in a few weeks time.
