LADIES 6TH TEAM REPORT 22ND SEPTEMBER 2018

Ladies 6th team v Broadland 3 W 4-0

With a few new faces from last season, Magpies looked to start the season strongly. Early on it was clear the efforts in pre-season Training had paid off with good passing evident across the pitch.
Alyssa Walker had a great First Ladies league match with tireless running on the left hand side of the pitch.
Georgia Hood connected well with Shirley McAllen on the right hand side of the pitch, making several determined attacking runs into the D.
By half time Magpies were 2:0 up and determined to increase the score further.
Frankie Wildmun had a good first game for the 6s, making some excellent clearances and regularly finding the in-form Rachael Clifford.
New captain Flea Perry led the team well, playing a key holding role in midfield, distributing the ball well and often finding Laura Woodgate who worked exceptionally hard on the forward line.
Jane Collins, Marie Davy and Liv Addison-Carter dealt well with the high forwards Broadland had tactically tried to stretch the play with, between them and Imogen Flatt in goal a clean sheet was assured.
The match finished 4:0 to Magpies, goal scorers were Rachael Clifford x2, Shirley McAllen and Laura Woodgate.
Player of the Match was shared between Flea Perry and Georgia Hood.
The 6s are looking forward to an early start next week away to Breckland.
