Ladies Colts A – MATCH REPORT

Magpies Ladies Colts A 2-5 Reepham

This was always going to be a tough match with Reepham near the top of the table but confidence was high at the start of the game.

Unfortunately; Magpies started badly conceding two quick goals which meant they were always chasing the game. 15 minutes into the game, positional changes saw magpies start to eliminate some of the early errors and they started making numerous chances upfront.

One of these chances was finally taken when Katie Forsyth made an excellent run down the right which resulted in Jose Tibbenham setting up Becky Marshall for her second goal of the season.

Unfortunately Reepham soon regained their two goal lead and then went on to score a further goal before magpies managed to pull one goal back with Jess Withers scoring at the left post from a penalty corner.

Reepham finally won the game 5-2 but Magpies did have chances throughout the game and the defensive line (whose average age was just 15!) were very unlucky on a few tackles which just did not go their way.
