Ladies 2nd Team v Bedford (Away (L) EW 1-0)

Magpies dominated the opening minutes of the match keeping possession but didn’t create any clear cut chances. The first and only goal of the game came from a ball out of the middle from Howland through to A. Woollatt whom slipped the Ball to Anouska Stott who found the back of the net.
In the second half Bedford stretched the play making magpies work for the Ball. They had a few breaks where the defence of Kath Johnson, Amelia, Katherine Ridley and Plum scooped the Ball up. Magpies kept themselves in the game creating some more chances but were unable to extend their lead.
