Womens 4s vs Ipswich W4

Womens 4s Match Report 30.09.23

Magpies were very quick out of the blocks, with Sienna and Molly making some great runs forward and Darcy playing well down the right. While they looked very solid at the back with Harriet in full control. The first goal game courtesy of a great run by Sienna a one two with Darcy and a confident finish by Sienna into the bottom corner. This was quickly followed by the second after great work by Mel passing to Darcy who fed Vanessa to finish excellently. At the back Mel H and Izzy Potter were playing really well and not letting the opposition have a chance. Izzy Parkin made a great attacking run down the left, fed the ball to Darcy who still had a lot to do before she scored a great goal.

Magpies were relentless with Cara, Molly and Evie making some great runs forward, which eventually led to short corner. This was fed in by Mel H, struck by Sienna and tapped in the post by Mel H. The second half was a quieter affair with Catherine eventually being called in to action to save a series of short corners, lots of chances were created but the score sheet could not be added to. Sienna had a great game in midfield and was voted player of the match.
