The women's 4’s were at home today with some nice weather, against Felixstowe W1s.
A tough game was expected against the team at the top of the league, but the ladies knew they could push forward and win.
The first half proved to be a hard start, but 17 mins into it, Izzy Waller scored a goal, giving them a boost early on. Spurred on by the goal, a short corner was won, but unfortunately Felixstowe were able to clear it.
Half time: 1-0
The second half showed an even game. More short corners, this time for Felixstowe, were won, but magpies were able to clear them, helped by great saves from goalie Caitlin. Nearing the end of the match, Felixstowe seemed to get a second lease of life, and much action was seen in the magpies D, but because of the strong defence and midfield, no goals were scored.
