Harleston Magpies and Norwich City battled it out in a thrilling encounter that ended in a 2-2 draw. Magpies took an early lead with a well-executed short corner routine, culminating in Tom Ridley smashing home a rebounded shot.
However, Norwich City responded with a scrappy counter-attack goal, levelling the score as both teams headed into the halftime break with a 1-1 deadlock.
The second half kicked off with Norwich City controversially taking the lead. Magpies' goalkeeper, Chris Leek, found himself in the midst of a contentious situation as he appeared to be kicked in the head before Norwich City managed to tap in the go-ahead goal.
Undeterred, the resilient Magpies fought back, even being down to 8 players at one point. Their determination paid off when Alex Weir Simmons unleashed a screamer of a goal, hitting a reverse shot into the top corner, equalizing the score once again.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, Harleston Magpies held firm, and Norwich City couldn't capitalize on the opportunity. The game concluded with a hard-fought 2-2 draw, maintaining the Magpies' dominance over Norwich in the National League.
