The Women's 1's managed to gain a well earned second three points of the season this weekend, up against a Sevenoaks team who had displayed a mixture of results so far this season.
Harleston Magpies did so with a convincing first half display with some excellent pressing and supreme passing breaking down Sevenoaks defence. A brace from Maddie Taylor put Magpies ahead followed by a well executed corner with a Lauren Barber precision delivery deftly deflected in by Beth Gardens.
The second half saw some changes to play and Magpies were less effective in keeping the ball, giving it away and allowing the opposition to score from a short corner. With the second goal conceded and cards coming at Harleston Magpies they did well to play the game out under manned to reach their second victory of the season.
