Magpies M6’ took to the pitch at the nest for a 10:00 pushback to get the season underway.
Fram had struggled with numbers due to exeat, but both teams came together to get the game underway.
The game started well for the Magpies with lots of pressure testing the Fram goal.
Grant Cooper with several great chances, but never quite putting it away.
After 13 minutes Toby Evers opened the scoring after further magpies pressure in front of goal and repeated this after a further 4 minutes, making it 2-0 with #33 on the score sheet twice.
Framlingham kept the game close with some fantastic counter attacking opportunities, but the halftime whistle was blown with the score at 2-0.
Early in the second half the Magpies conceded a short corner, and after a pair of players setting off early out of the goal, leaving Fram to fire the shot past the 2 remaining Defenders and Noah in goal. 2-1.
Fram started to put together so very good forward play, using the full width of the pitch, but strong performances all round from the Magpies defenders held them out.
At 60 minutes, Tevers continued his fine form and secured his hat-trick, and shortly after Grant Cooper got his name on the scoresheet after a solid performance.
Fram weren’t done and kept the game tempo high, with a very well worked goal from their #14. This brought a well contested match to a close at 4-2 to the M6’s.
A big thank you to Framlingham M1 Dev for a great game played in good spirits.
We travel to Dragons next week to take on their M4’s.
