Both teams came into the match looking for points for different reasons as the flight for survival was on for Magpies.
Chelmsford came out of the blocks the quickest with them dictating the play, putting relentless pressure on the pies defence. As the first quarter came to a close magpies had a few counter attacks however Chelmsford eventually took the lead through a short corner. 1st quarter ending 0-1 to the visitors.
After the first quarter the momentum swung into Chelmsford favour and the team spent the majority of the time down the magpies goal without success. With the half drawing to a close Chelmsford scored two quick fire goals leaving the score 3-0.
As the second half opened the momentum shifted as magpies looked to bounce back. The Harleston team started to create some great opportunities- however could not find the back of the net.
With the game becoming more and more open it was Chelmsford who got the job done with a clinical attacking play and no turning back for Harleston. Full time score 0-4.
The boys showed great spirit in the second half however it was a long way back after a strong first half from the visitors.
