Womens 4s vs Norwich City W3

Magpies 4s went out to the pitch with fire in their belly to win and go up the league table, and the score board showed that!

Within the first 3 minutes of whistle blowing Lila took the first goal in fabulous open play right from the defence forward. However that wasn’t enough for Magpies, we wanted to win this game comfortably, so with that being said the immaculate game play by everyone on the field pushed us to score another goal at 18 minutes perfectly executed by Angie at a short corner.

Then came half time and after a quick pep talk and encouraging words by all players more beautiful, fast pace game play by the 4s obviously led to another goal by Lila ! Making it 3-0 just after half time. Unfortunately at 18 minutes one of our players got a green card also another one of our players received a green card with 11 minutes remaining however that didn’t phase us, our aim of the game was to leave that pitch comfortably with 3 points.

We kept on pushing for more goals, and what comes with more beautiful game play…. GOALS OF COURSE so with that being said Cara went on to score the second to last goals from a short corner at 68 minutes and to round to off to 5-0 Lila scored cheeky scrappy goal at 70 minutes. 

Overall from this report it was clear to say that the magpies fours enjoyed their game today against Norwich city 3s and most definitely completed their aim of the game although we received 2 green cards and few minor injuries we were extremely happy with how the whole team played and to conclude this report, a very well done to Lila was crowned player of the match, it was very well deserved !
